Safety is Sexy

When we set out to let everyone know that staffing isn’t sexy, there was one thing we knew was definitely sexy enough to talk about: safety. Safety is sexy. At TeamWRX, we’re committed to ensuring your safety on every job site. Our team has worked hard to put together a variety of resources for our team to stay safe while in the field, and along with our available resources, we always recommend team members stay up-to-date with the latest from the American Staffing Association, National Safety Council, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

To tell you more about how sexy safety is, we pulled together our resources and sat down with the TeamWRX Manager of Human Resources, John Poynter, who leads the charge of keeping our team safe on the job.

Our Commitment to Safety

At TeamWRX, we take safety seriously and make it a top priority. We understand that every worker has the right to a safe and healthy work environment, and we go above and beyond to ensure that our team members are protected from potential hazards and risks.

To start with, we provide comprehensive safety training to all of our team members before they begin any job assignments. Our training covers a range of topics, including personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, and emergency response protocols. We also offer ongoing training to ensure that our team members stay up-to-date with the latest safety procedures and regulations, and we’re constantly updating our blog with the latest in workplace safety.

In addition to training, we have a variety of safety measures in place on every job site. Our team members are required to wear appropriate PPE, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots, as necessary. Our Account Managers work closely with clients to ensure that we know the best ways to keep you safe on the job.

For our commitment, John Poynter said, “Our number one priority is making sure our employees are safe. If there is an issue, we make sure that our team receives any and all medical care. We also make a commitment to our clients to make sure we’re sending physically capable team members to work on their sites. And overall we commit to making sure that TeamWRX remains #1 by having protocols in place to make sure everyone succeeds.”

We believe that safety is the foundation of a successful staffing industry. By providing a safe work environment, we are not only protecting our team members but also increasing productivity and job satisfaction. We’re proud of our commitment to safety, and we believe that it’s just one more reason why working with TeamWRX is the right choice for both job seekers and employers.

Being Responsible, Staying Safe

While TeamWRX is committed to providing a safe work environment, it’s important to note that safety is a team sport. Our team members also have a responsibility to take the necessary precautions to ensure their own safety while on the job.

In relation to team member responsibilities, John gave the following advice: “Make sure to stay cognizant of your duties and responsibilities. Never operate anything you haven’t been trained on. If there is ever an issue or if you feel unsafe, it’s your responsibility to reach out to our team to make sure we can help you and resolve any issues with a client.”

We encourage all of our team members to take advantage of the safety resources that we provide on our website. We have a wealth of information available on topics like safety regulations for distribution centers, general safety for contract workers, warehouse safety, and working in hot and cold weather. By educating themselves on these important topics, our team members are better equipped to identify potential hazards and take the appropriate steps to stay safe while on the job.

At the end of the day, safety is everyone’s responsibility. We take our commitment to safety seriously, and we expect the same level of dedication from our team members. By working together, we can create a safer and healthier work environment for all of our employees.

Keeping Others Safe on the Field

Finally, it’s important for our team members to look out for one another and take steps to keep their coworkers safe. This could include reporting any accidents or incidents that they witness on the job site, or bringing to their supervisor’s attention if something seems off or potentially hazardous. Whatever happens, always make sure to stay in touch with your Account Manager. They’re here to help, no matter the situation.

At TeamWRX, we take workplace safety very seriously, and we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to workplace violence. This means that any type of aggressive or violent behavior, including harassment, bullying, or physical altercations, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

We believe that a safe work environment is not only a legal and moral obligation but also a critical component of our team’s success. By working together and looking out for one another, we can create a culture of safety and mutual respect that benefits everyone.

Safety is not only essential but also a sexy part of the staffing industry. At TeamWRX, we are committed to providing our team members with the resources and training necessary to stay safe on the job, but being a part of our team means keeping safety in mind every day, and we encourage our team members to take personal responsibility for their safety and the safety of their coworkers. By working together and following the safety protocols, we can create a safer and healthier work environment for everyone.
